Snuggles
For the Snuggles design I wanted the bear to be presented as a loveable and huggable character. To begin the project I drew many concept sketches, trying to maintain a round character design. Afterwards, I studied various colour schemes and linework for the rig.

Squirrel
For this project I designed a basic red squirrel with a circular build, in order to make animating easier. I tried unnatural colours for the squirrel, but they didn’t blend well, so I chose a warmer scheme to compliment the background.

Grandma
This is a second year short project where I needed to design a character from a given brief.
"An old, lower middle class Dutch woman with a long face, golden brown skin and coily hair. Wears oversized, masculine clothes. Won't be seen without her neckerchief and her unusual amulet. Enjoys fine dining and will only eat organic food. Is a compulsive liar."
